COMPARISON/CONTRAST EXPERT:

- Some of the similarities we have between the French and US revolution are socially: Both have social inequality, economically: Both have economic instability from war debt, political: Both want a change from being ruled by an absolute ruler. I think these LIBERAL differences exist because one inspired the other one and the ideas the first one had were excellent for US so they adopted them and used them.

- Some of the similarities we have between the French and US revolution are socially: They both are recovering from the expenses they both had in their respective civil or revolution wars, economically: Even after the revolution, France had an stronger economy than United States, but the difference is also that the US economy is growing super fast, while the french it’s just staying as it has been just after the revolution;  political: The American Revolution resulted in the newly independent United States, whereas the French Revolution overthrew its own government. They are obviously more liberal in the way they develop different but at the same time they want a change for the wrong ideas and laws.

- I would rather live in US because the economy is growing significantly and I think there I would have a really good job opportunities, and also adding the fact the people is going to be more free in all the ways, I feel it that way. It is not even necessary to mention that the rights and freedoms will be respected as it says in its constitution.

(Week 9): Memories of your USA trip

We have been in group recently at United States of America for a while and we have recently met at a cafeteria James Monroe, yes, you read well, ¡James Monroe!, for me and my partners, it was amazing:)

What I liked the most is that the people is pretty calid, it isn't uncomfortable as at the other places.

What surprised me the most is that I thought the economic aspect was pretty limited, but it isn't, it is totally the opposite.

GROUP WORK & INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES

2. HISTORICAL ANALYSIS SKILLS INDIVIDUAL & TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

At the beginning of your journey, one team member revealed that they were bringing a piece of amazing experimental technology called a "camera" with them. This device was able to record images (without colour) of people and places, so your team has been able to use this technology to take "photos" with the people, items and places you have visited. Here you will share some of those images by doing the following:

(A) INDIVIDUAL:

- Each team-member is to identify the person, place or item (based on the list created by the "Facts, People and Places Expert", you can add extras if you need to) that they enjoyed meeting or visiting the most (make sure that each team-member chooses different people, places or items)

With my friend John Quincy Adams;)

(B) GROUP:

- Once all individual images have been shared, put all 6-7 team member's images together in one single image (a "collage"....you guys obviously know what that mean in French :-) and then share that collage with all team members

- Under the image each team member is to create 5 #Tags to describe the image:
#newcamara, #photo, # thefutureisnow, #innovate, #expresident, #blackandwhite.

GROUP WORK & INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES

4. HISTORICAL ANALYSIS SKILLS INDIVIDUAL & TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:

CHANGE/CONTINUITY EXPERT:

- Politically, Mexico was deeply divided between two groups: the Liberals and the Conservatives, each wanting to rule Mexico in a different way. Nowadays this doesn't happens. After gaining Independence in 1821, the country was left in a poor state; Agricultural, mining and industrial production had fallen during the war, but nowadays we are a lot of

- One political aspect that continues being is the liberal feeling, at the end of the day, we still want to be free in all aspects, even at vote and another one could be the corruption , which anyway is still active.

- The conservatives are the ones that see as a positive thing for the country to only allow the elites to vote (which are almost extinct) and the liberals are the ones that want the country to stay democratic and free at voting and a lot of aspects more. These ways of thinking are in conflict because one wants to continue the repression and the "traditions" and the other one is totally the opposite , freedom for everyone's right.

Blog Activity (Week 11.....FINAL SUBMISSION): Memories of your Mexico trip

INDIVIDUAL WORK

1. UPDATE:

- We have recently went to the National Palace or at least that's how I remember it is called, Puebla, Mexico city and we also meet a few important figures just as Guadalupe Victoria, etc..

- I loved the food, definitely , but the only thing I didn't think about this interesting country was the treat of the bosses to their workers, i think it is just not fair.

- The most impressive thing about this country is that always the people in the streets or in their business, they are happy.

- I think everyone is really enjoying their time in Mexico, but i'm seeing it in a very general way.
